Do you believe municipal composting is an important way to combat climate change?

Yes I do. While researching this a bit more I was pleasantly surprised to find that Kamloops offers courses on teaching people how to properly compost. We also have two different sites where the public can bring their compostable materials, and every year offer multiple christmas tree drop off locations so that they can be properly disposed of. The only thing that may be lacking is the fact that the compost site locations can be quite far for people to get to so perhaps there is some way for us to look into a drop off location program similar to what we do with the christmas trees.
